Gunjan's series is her interpretation of forces of nature that govern our world. She focuses on energy, of the understanding of the element that renders her representations abstract. Agni (Fire) here comes from  darkness, a void and emerges into a burning bright ball of energy. At a point it is equated with the energy of sun, the source of all energy in this universe of ours.
