 ‘Now’ as you all know is also ‘TIME’ the idea of time is consisting of Past, Present and Future. Past is in the memory and the future is in the imagination. ‘Now’ is, however, is present and in a moment becomes past. These large canvases are done in action painting way, as an action is now and not a moment in thought. By avoiding movement of thought, the painting creates the possibility of mutation to happen in the moment of 'now'.
